  • Please check if the CCS feature is installed in your EV(HOW TO CHECK : CLICK HERE). If it’s “not installed”, then you need this wire retrofits below in order to enable the Tesla CCS1 adapter.

This CCS adapter will allow you to charge your Tesla at non-Tesla fast charging stations such as Electrify America. Using it is simple: Just plug the CCS plug into this adapter, and then plug the adapter into your car as usual. It includes a nice storage bag so you can toss it in your trunk when not in use.

My car is a 2023 Model Y Performance with CCS enabled. Make sure you verify that your car has CCS enabled before buying this adapter. You can view the CCS status from the screen in your car under Software and Additional Information.

I tested this adapter at two different Electrify America charging locations. At each location I also charged with the official Tesla CCS adapter, and at both locations my charging speeds were the same whether I was using this adapter or the official one.
