Tesla has announced that the first delivery event for its highly anticipated Cybertruck will take place at 2 p.m. CT (12 p.m. PT) on Thursday, November 30, 2023. The event will be held at Gigafactory Texas in Austin, Texas.

The company made the announcement on its official Cybertruck account on X, with a post that noted, "This year it's Cyber Thursday." The post also included a new poster featuring the Cybertruck breaking through a cloud of dust.

Tesla has been teasing the Cybertruck for years, and it has generated a lot of excitement among potential buyers. The electric pickup truck is expected to have a range of over 500 miles, a 0-60 mph time of under three seconds, and a towing capacity of over 14,000 pounds.

Interestingly enough, Tesla IR Head Martin Viecha previously stated that the Cybertruck first delivery event would be starting at 1 p.m. CT (11 a.m. PT) instread. Tesla's recent post on X suggests that the event's time had been adjusted slightly.

Cybertruck Display Units Attracting a Lot of Attention

Tesla has been showcasing the Cybertruck at a number of its physical stores, and the display units are attracting a lot of attention from visitors. Some stores even have lines of people waiting to see the Cybertruck for themselves. This was something that has been seen before, especially when the Tesla Model 3 was about to be unveiled back in 2016.

At the time, Tesla only had the Model S and Model X, and everyone was very excited about the electric car maker creating a mass market vehicle. We all know how the Model 3 became an immense success. If the crowds that it attracts to Tesla stores are any indication, it would appear that the Cybertruck could be as successful as the Model 3.

Tesla Cybertruck: A Permanent Rolling Billboard

Tesla bull Gary Black of The Future Fund has noted that the Cybertruck would have a "halo effect" on Tesla's entire vehicle lineup. This suggests that even those who will not be buying the Cybertruck could purchase one of Tesla's other EVs since their attention was caught by the electric pickup.

The Cybertruck is a bold and futuristic vehicle that is sure to turn heads. It could also be considered a permanent rolling billboard for Tesla. Even if someone doesn't intend to buy a Cybertruck, after all, they are sure to remember the company that had enough guts to create such a radical vehicle.
