How Much Will It Take To Repair Your Tesla Cybertruck? Tesla Parts Catalog Provides Hints

Tesla's futuristic Cybertruck may have just hit the streets, but the company is already gearing up for repairs. A peek into Tesla's official parts catalog offers a glimpse into some of the component costs of maintaining the Cybertruck, and it reveals both sticker shock and surprising affordability.

For body panels, a fender replacement comes in at $550, which is more expensive than a replacement fender of a Ford F-150 Lightning, according to an InsideEVs report. Since the Cybertruck's fenders do not need to be painted, however, owners of the angular electric pickup truck may end up spending less than the owner of a Ford F-150 Lightning, whose fender still needs to be painted.

While minor front-end collisions might only require replacing the $935 front fascia, more major damage could require swapping the entire powered frunk assembly. That costs a hefty $1,910. In this scenario, your Cybertruck repairs would set you back a total of $2,845.75 for parts alone, not including labor.

Cybertruck owners will be wise to brace themselves for a hefty $1,900 for a replacement of the vehicle's gigantic windshield. Fortunately, the Cybertruck's Armor Glass side windows are far more reasonable at $200-$260 apiece. The Cybertruck's front quarter windows are priced at $200, while the rear-door side glass costs $225. The front-door moving glass is $260, as noted by members of the Cybertruck Owners Club

Wear and tear items like the comically large "Gigawiper" blade surprisingly ring in at a modest $75, comparable to high-end after-market options. Goodyear Wrangler Territory RT (285/65R20) tires, which are needed for navigating off-road adventures, come in at $470 each. Tesla's Parts Catalog does not include the custom Goodyear tires with the Cybertruck sidewall yet, however.

While some parts may elicit winces, others offer unexpected value. This sneak peek into the Cybertruck's repair costs is a mixed bag, but it provides valuable insights for future owners and sheds light on the intricacies of maintaining this revolutionary electric vehicle.
