Rivian Revs Up for Electrifying 2024 with NACS Boost

2023 was a banner year for Rivian Automotive, and the electric truckmaker isn't pumping the brakes anytime soon. As dust settles on a year of record deliveries and production milestones, Rivian is already teasing an even more thrilling ride in 2024, with a generous nod to Tesla's ubiquitous Supercharger network thrown in for good measure.
Rivian's new year's gift for its passionate drivers is an early gift of compatibility with the North American Charging Standard (NACS), Tesla's proprietary rapid charging network. This 2023, all R1 owners will have access to a free adaptor to the NACS. And starting in 2025, every R1T pickup and R1S SUV will roll off the production line sporting a factory-built NACS port, making them fully compatible with Tesla's extensive network of Superchargers.
